Michelle Allard
Piano/Voice
I am currently in my fifth, and last, year of the Integrated Bachelor of Music Education program at the University of Manitoba, and have been primarily studying voice and choral music (mostly for high school). As a classically trained soprano, I have many tools to understanding the voice and have taken particular interest in vocal health and anatomy in my studies. I can be found every Sunday leading my church in hymns and responses, but also playing the piano or organ during mass as I have completed grade 7 piano through RCM. Musical theatre and opera are my strengths, but I am able to teach and coach pop, folk, jazz, and many other styles. This past summer I completed level 1 Orff and have lots of ideas for teaching elementary-aged children to sing. I sincerely look forward to teaching and learning from all my students this year.
Jackie Shaw
Voice
Jackie has been singing since the age of 5… With over 15 years of experience and 10 years of formal training Jackie is ready to share what she has learned. Jackie has studied country music stylings under Ray St Germain and classical music under Melanie Whyte. She also studied vocal jazz for 4 years, musical theater for 3 years and spent 2 years with the Prairie Theater Exchange.
Jackie is a singer song writer who has released 2 CDs and has written a jingle for a Winnipeg candy company. She has been featured on HOT 103.1 FM being played in their rotation and touring with their dance troop. Jackie specializes in pop\dance and country music but is versatile in all styles of music.

Voice
I am currently in my fourth year of my Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Manitoba. I have studied voice for 9 years, most recently under Rosemarie Van der Hooft and Donna Fletcher. I have two years of teaching experience and feel like I have a lot to share with students of any age. Most of my experience are in both the classical and musical theatre genres, but would be happy to work on any style of music.
